Corrects 2 problems with UIS audio: The volume control accessory doesn't work and winlogon takes 100% CPU if the X terminal is turned off while the logoff sound is playing.  Get the README

UE100M100005.EXE

Previously, the UIS device manager found the X server's address by using DNS lookup on the unqualified display name. This failed if the X server's domain was not in the DNS client's domain list. The device manager now gets the address without using DNS.  Get the README

UE100M100006.EXE

Corrects 2 problems: Installing UIS broke automatic lockout of user accounts and installing UIS on SP4 meant that services with names exceeding 18 characters in length could not be started if a user account was specified.  Get the README

UE100M100007.EXE

Corrects 2 problems:

1. Allows XDM clients to connect to all IP addresses on a multi-homed host.

2. Gets Address Location Specifications that use IP address ranges to work.

To install UIS  for Metaframe 1.0 hotfixes on Metaframe 1.8,  Perform the following steps:

1)  Download the hotfix into an empty directory and execute it.

2)  Open HOTFIX.INI and change the following entries to read:

MFBuild = 663

3) Save HOTFIX.INI and launch the command:

HOTFIX /I

4) Shutdown and reboot server.
